PASTOR ROB DEVERELL

Pastor Rob Deverell was born in Wilmington, Delaware, but has spent most of his youth in South Jersey. Growing up in New Jersey in a Christian home, he attended several Christian schools, but ended up graduating from Solid Rock Christian School in Kirkwood. During his high school years, he was hit with the reality that he, despite being in church his entire life, was not saved. He did not know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Rob's youth pastor was able to lead him to the Lord, and shortly thereafter Rob was called to preach.

Later his senior year, he went off to Bible college and graduated with his degree in preaching. Following the Lord's call to serve teenagers, he went to Hawaii and served for 16 years in a Baptist church as youth pastor and assistant pastor. While serving in Hawaii, Rob was ordained, and began praying for God's leading. Rob soon felt the burden to pastor himself. He felt the Lord calling him back to New Jersey to serve where he grew up.

 

Rob, Anna, and their three children, packed their belongings and moved summer of 2023. We are excited to have them, and they are excited to be home to serve the people of South Jersey!
